Research Interests: Renaissance and Baroque drama and theatre practice; theories of directing, acting, and the history of theatre.
- ANNA MIGLIARISI holds a BFA (Performance) from the School of Dramatic Art, University of Windsor and an MA and PhD from the Graduate Centre for Study of Drama, University of Toronto. Her scholarly publications include numerous articles and book chapters on directorial history, theory and practise as well as three books, Renaissance and Baroque Directors: Theory and Practice of Play Production in Italy (2003), Directing and Authorship in Western Drama (2006) and Stanislavsky and Directing (2008). In addition, she is an established member of the professional theatre and film community.
