Acadia ALERT - Campus Closed (Weather)

Today, Wednesday December 03, 2025, Acadia University will remain closed, with the exception of residences and Wheelock Dining Hall, due to the current weather and travel conditions. Wheelock Dining Hall may adjust their hours due to the weather and any change in hours will be communicated through Residence Life.

Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Any events scheduled for today will be postponed or cancelled.

Updates will be posted on www.acadiau.ca and pre-recorded on Acadia’s Information Line: 902-585-4636 (585-INFO) and on 585 phone system voicemail. Facilities

The Theatre Program has primary access to two dedicated theatre spaces: the BAC 229 studio space and the Lower Denton Theatre. Most theatre studio courses take place in BAC 229, with occasional use of alternate university spaces such as the ATF building and Upper Denton stage.

Productions are mounted in the Lower Denton Theatre, a fully-equipped black box theatre space which seats up to 100.

Theatre faculty offices are located on the 4th floor of the Beveridge Arts Centre, along with the main office of the Department of English and Theatre.
