Mary Fay Coady, Theatre Alumni (2006) won the lead acting (female) category at this year’s Merritt awards for her portrayal of Chaya in Old Stock, A Refugee Love Story.  Currently running off-Broadway in New York City, Old Stock is the musical story of Romanian Jewish immigrants Chaim and Chaya, based on playwright Hannah Moscovitch’s great-grand parents.  Mary Fay not only acted, but also played the violin!
