ACADIA ALERT - Campus Closed - Monday January 26, 2026

Acadia University will be closed on Monday January 26, 2026 due to expected weather conditions.

All classes are cancelled for the day. Employees and students are not expected to come to campus and only employees deemed essential are required to report to work. Non-essential employees are not expected to work during the closure. Residence buildings will be accessible, and Wheelock Dining Hall will be open but at reduced hours.

Dr. Michael Devine featured guest artist

Dr. Michael Devine of the Acadia Theatre Programme was the featured guest artist at the 2nd Odessa International Theatre Festival in Odessa, Ukraine, July 22-31 2016. Michael trained actors at the festival in his BoxWhatBox method and created the festival’s closing performance, WALLS/STINY, over 8 days of rehearsals. Michael also led his popular actor training seminar, CATT (Centre for Alternative Theatre Training) in Rome, Italy, in August, 2016, which featured actors from four countries and co-instructors Cinzia Grande and Andrea Lattari.
